Snaith, Cowick & Rawcliffe Volunteer Support Group

Following the Government’s announcement on Saturday 31 October 2020 that England will re-enter a national lockdown from Thursday 5th November 2020, we have been advised by the Snaith, Cowick and Rawcliffe Volunteer Support Group (SCRVSG) that they are reactivating the helpline to support any vulnerable residents during this period.

Although the Government has not specifically instructed the elderly and most vulnerable to shield it is highly likely that some will wish to do so. This service will therefore offer help with shopping, medication delivery and post as it did during the previous lockdown. The helpline number is 07835 130103 and will be open daily starting from Thursday 5 November between 9:00am and 5:00pm. Shopping requests will be delivered the following day, with any medication requests actioned the same day if made before 12 Noon.

If you are aware of any vulnerable family members, friends or neighbours who may benefit from this service, please let them know.

If you would like more information, please follow the link below to take you to their dedicated website www.scrvsg.org.uk

May we take this opportunity to thank the SCRVSG and its volunteers for once again supporting our residents during these difficult times.
