Fifteen Heritage Walks were created and published in 2012 with the aid of grants from the Heritage Lottery Fund  and LEADER. Each walk has at least one large information board somewhere on the walk illustrating the cultural and historical importance of the area. The walks explore the natural beauty of this most westerly part of the East Riding of Yorkshire. The walks have been devised by linking together existing rights of way and minor roads.Using them you will be able to discover many interesting, historic and undiscovered parts of the countryside. Whilst the longest walk is 8 ¾ miles walks can linked to create a walk of over 20 miles without crossing or duplicating sections. Walks in Snaith start in the station car park.

The walks can be downloaded Free of charge here:

Snaith and Cowick Town Council endeavour to keep all public footpaths well signed and accessible but in the unlikely event of you experiencing a problem please report it to the Council using the contact page on this website.
