New Litter Bins for the Parish

Over 18 months ago Snaith and Cowick Town Council made the decision to install a number of new litter bins around the parish.
Unfortunately due to the pandemic, services at the East Riding of Yorkshire Council were put on hold.
Today we are very pleased to inform residents the bins have been installed at the following locations:
 
▪️Junction of Bourn Mill Balk Road and Pontefract Road
▪️Pontefract Road near to the secondary school
▪️Additional bin at joint use play area
▪️Market Place
 
An additional replacement bin has also been installed (at no cost to us) on High Street, East Cowick. The Town Council will turn the old concrete bin into a planter.
 
We do hope residents will use the additional assets to the community and try to keep Snaith, East and West Cowick a beautiful place to live and visit.
