REFURBISHMENT WORKS TO THE CO-OPERATIVE STORE
Market Place, Snaith

Snaith & Cowick Town Council have recently been provided with details of the proposed refurbishment works to The Co-operative store on Market Place, Snaith.

The aim of the project is to improve the general image of the store and increase the range of products available. The improvements include new signage, shelving, refrigeration, better lighting, a new kiosk and both internal and external decoration.

Works are scheduled to commence on Monday 26th October 2015, for a period of 5 weeks. This does include a store closure period of 15 days between Wednesday 11th November to Friday 27th November. The store will re-launch itself on Friday 27th November 2015.

The Town Council have tried to negotiate the provision of a ‘Pop-up Shop’ so essentials can still be provided, but unfortunately the project management team working on behalf of The Co-operative have advised that they cannot support this as there is no suitably sized area available to accommodate the vehicle.

Please find attached a letter from M3 Ltd, providing more information on the proposals.
