Help the NHS and Save Lives – STAY AT HOME!
The Town Council have received reports of people gathering at the Old Quarry behind Villa Fields and Saffron Drive, which is against the social distancing rules set out by the Government. These gatherings have apparently included 6 people or more and have been seen on a number of different occasions. We understand Humberside Police have been informed.
Please can we stress the importance of following Government Guidelines (www.gov.uk) to STAY AT HOME unless you need to leave to buy food, for health reasons or for work (but only if you cannot work from home).
You must comply with these rules. Relevant authorities have been given powers to enforce them – including fines.
Please can we take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to our residents who are abiding by these rules.
