It has been previously mentioned in the local press that Snaith & Cowick Town Council have been in negotiation with the East Riding of Yorkshire Council with respect to taking over the running Snaith Youth Club, and we are pleased to confirm that the Town Council are now moving this initiative forward.
Two new members of staff will be joining the council team this month, and will be interacting with the local youth community to ask what it is they would like from the club.
Goole GoFar are also supporting the Youth Club by successfully bidding for funding to help transport youngsters from surrounding areas into Snaith, both to attend the club and also to provide means for getting to activities and events further afield.
