The Freedom of Snaith is a honour which is bestowed to the RAF 51 Squadron for their affiliation to the area during WWII.
A celebratory parade is usually held every three years but this will not be able to take place this year due to the on-going pandemic.
It has been agreed to delay the full parade and celebration until 2022, which will also be the 10 year anniversary of the Freedom of Snaith, but a small online event will take place on Monday 22 March at 6:30pm. All residents are welcome to join this event. Log-on details are on the attached flyer.
