Snaith & Cowick Christmas Market & Lights Switch-on

Every year, on the first Saturday in December, Snaith & Cowick Town Council host their annual Christmas Market and Christmas Lights Switch-on.

This is a popular community event with over 40 stalls lining Market Place and High Street, leading you on into The Priory Church where more stalls can be found. A short Carol Service, accompanied by the choirs from the local Primary Schools kicks off the event, and includes a loud countdown to the switch on of the lights on the community Christmas Tree.

There is a wide range of stalls selling a variety of Christmas Craft, Decorations and Gifts, Woodwork, Metalwork, Cosmetics, Candles and Baked Goods – to name a few – just to ensure that there is something for everyone!

We also have Children’s Rides, Mulled Wine and Mince Pies inside The Priory, along with other Food and Drink outlets, which makes this a fantastic event to attend with all members of the family. Many of the local retailers are also open for browsing! It is also FREE to attend! We look forward to seeing you there!

Should you be interested in having a stall at this event, please contact the Town Council on 01405 862663 or via e-mail at assistantclerk@snaithandcowicktc.co.uk for more information. Stalls do get booked out very quickly so please get in touch early to avoid disappointment. Stalls are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please feel free to browse our Photo Gallery of past Christmas Markets on the other pages in this section.
