Section 137 Grant Funding
The Town Council were very pleased to provide Grant Funding to eight local community groups and charities in November 2023, under Section 137 of the Local Government Act 1972. This followed an application process through October and a presentation to Council Members in November. The funding was distributed to the following groups;
Cowick Ladies Guild, The Vale of Snaith Action Group, Snaith Juniors Football Club, Snaith Community Playing Fields, Snaith Primary PTA, Pollington Airfield Memorial Garden, Snaith & Cowick Together and Friends of Snaith Priory.
Cheques were presented to all the groups by the Town Mayor on Monday 11 December 2023.
