Market Place, Snaith

Snaith & Cowick Town Council are pleased to host their 2nd Annual Mid-Summer Market!! This will be held on Saturday 20th June 2015, and is guaranteed to be a fantastic family event. Officially opened at 2:30pm by the Town Mayor, we have over 30 stalls selling fantastic local produce, gifts, food and drink. This year, there will also be a Medieval theme, linking it to the 800th anniversary of the signing of the Magna Carta and we invite all children to join in a Fancy Dress Competition with prizes for the best dressed! Come along as a character from medieval times such as King John, Robin Hood or Maid Marian and join in the fun!
A performance from a group of Morris Dancers will get the event under way, with children’s rides and themed activities. The Old Mill Brewery is open for free tours with the opportunity to sample some of the ales made on the premises. Snaith Priory will also be open for refreshments.
We look forward to seeing you there!!
