CALLING ALL WALKERS!
At Easter 2017, The Snaith & Cowick Walking Group will be ten years old. It continues to offer regular short morning walks on a Tuesday, starting at 10am at Snaith Station Car Park. The number of walkers has increased this year and we are eager to continue offering the walks in the future.
The group is currently run by three of the founder members, all of whom are now in their 70’s. In order to cope with the increasing number of walkers, we need “jump-leads” for the three of us, but we also need some help in the form of walk-leader volunteers.
Ideally, we need three additional walk-leaders for 2017, each of whom would lead no more than two short walks per quarter, so the commitment is low. Pre-planning will not be necessary, as we will allocate the route and supply a map.
